*I still need to add quotes and another paragraph, it's really rough, I know. I didn't get time to edit it myself.

Macbeth’s Characterization
The play Macbeth by Shakespeare, is known as a tale power, greed, hate, and sanity, all spiraling out of control. Macbeth's character went from a knight to a king but through horrible actions. Although Macbeth is perceived as a heroic and brave character at the beginning of the play, Shakespeare soon reveals this dynamic character as a weak man easily influenced by those around him.
Macbeth was first persuade by the witches. They promised him position of Thane, then king. He was so confident in this prophecy, that after his mindset was to become Thane, and then King, no matter what it took. They also told Banquo that he would have sons that will be king, but Banquo payed no attention to this.
After becoming Thane, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth hosted King Duncan at their house. Lady Macbeth took this as the chance to kill the king, to take his place, and convinced Macbeth to do it for her. She takes a very aggressive and attacking way of doing this by calling him names and intimidating him. Macbeth after their conversation is determined that this is the thing to do.
Macbeth was ready to take Duncan life, But after being treated so kindly by the king and respected, he did not want to do the deed anymore because he realized his life was fine already. He then comes back to his wife stating his change in mind, and she is not pleased with this.
Macbeth rarely makes his decision, and when he does they can be easily manipulated. His actions and ideas are of the ones he is around at the time, or the party he was just with. But Macbeth will keep this mindset if there is not an intervention from a third party. As he was confronted with his wife about killing the king, he was convinced again and went to go do it as no one saw him between his wife and the king. The only doubt he had was his own but he also felt himself going mad.
Macbeth does not have the ability to make decision on his own, and has a very malleable mind. He was easily convinced by the witches, his wife, and the king. Although Macbeth showed great showed great strength and the characteristics of a hero at the beginning, It is revealed that Shakespeare’s character is actually very weak, and has a very manipulative mind. Macbeth is not a strong character and has no control over his mind, leaving it for others to form to their beliefs for better or worse.

  1. It looks very good, just need some quotes scattered throughout the essay. Also, paragraphs could be a little longer.
